Terms of Use

In short. REVV is the companion app for a motorcycle tour you have booked with us. It shows your itinerary, keeps it available offline and guides you along the route. The guidance is an aid, not a substitute for your judgement: you are the rider, and road signs, traffic law and conditions on the ground always come first.

1. These terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Revv driving tours SL, a company established in Spain (“REVV”, “we”). They govern your use of the REVV iOS app and of the pages we serve at app.revvtravel.com (together, the “App”). By signing in to the App you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The App and your tour booking

The App is provided to people who have booked a tour with REVV. The booking itself, its price, payment, cancellation and what the tour includes are governed by the reservation contract you made with us, not by these Terms. The App does not take bookings or payments. Your booking appears in the App once our staff have entered it; if it does not, contact us at info@revvtravel.com.

3. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and hold a licence valid for the motorcycle you ride.
  • You sign in with a link or code sent to your email address. Keep that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Do not share your account.
  • You can sign out of a device, sign out everywhere, or delete your account from the Profile screen at any time.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

4. Licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for the purpose of taking part in your REVV tour, in accordance with these Terms and with Apple’s usage rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or decompile the App, or use it to build a competing product.

We may require you to update the App to keep using it, for example when a security fix or a change to our servers makes older versions unsafe or unreliable.

5. Navigation, safety and your responsibility

The App offers turn-by-turn guidance, voice instructions and offline maps built on Mapbox data. This guidance is informational only. Maps can be out of date, roads can be closed, and conditions change. You agree that:

  • You remain fully responsible for riding safely and lawfully, including obeying traffic signs, speed limits and the instructions of authorities and of REVV guides.
  • You will not handle your phone while riding. Mount it securely, set up the route before you leave, and stop in a safe place to interact with the App.
  • You will use your own judgement whenever guidance conflicts with what you see on the road, and you will not enter roads, areas or conditions that are unsafe or prohibited.
  • The App is not an emergency service. In an emergency call the local emergency number.

6. Offline content and third-party services

The App lets you download tour content and map areas for use without coverage. Downloaded maps reflect the data available when you downloaded them. Maps, directions and navigation are provided by Mapbox and are subject to Mapbox’s terms and privacy policy; the App is distributed by Apple under the App Store terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these third-party services.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access the App or our servers other than through the App as we provide it;
  • probe, scan, overload or interfere with our servers, or attempt to bypass rate limits or security;
  • extract, scrape or redistribute tour content, routes, tips, documents or images;
  • use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms other riders, our staff or third parties.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and the tour content it displays (routes, itineraries, tips, photographs, documents and text) belong to REVV or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of these rights to you. You may use tour content only for your own tour.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available during your tour, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially where there is no mobile coverage. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may stop supporting older versions of iOS or of the App, giving reasonable notice where we can.

10. Warranties and liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including as to the accuracy of maps and directions, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your riding, from third-party services, or from events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep every right that the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you.

11. Apple

These Terms are between you and REVV only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account from the Profile screen. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if your booking is cancelled, or if we are required to by law. Sections 8, 10 and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Spain, without prejudice to the right of consumers to bring or defend proceedings in the courts of their own country of residence. If you have a complaint, write to us first at info@revvtravel.com; we will try to resolve it directly.

14. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the App before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the new Terms.
